COO, Director, and Board Member
As the Chief Operations Officer at Fisheye, Ted Selig provides leadership in business development, operations, and product strategy. Ted’s focus is building technology that eases access and maximizes exploitation of understanding and information from the flow of real-time embedded system data. His over 25 years’ experience has included creating technology servicing analytic and mission-critical systems in transportation and defense industries. His areas of expertise in the technology sector spans international business development and management, intellectual property, corporate governance, software and systems development, and product innovation. His commercial and government experience includes real-time systems, railway information systems, computer networks, air traffic control systems, and phased-array radar systems.
Ted is a serial entrepreneur, advisor, and early-stage investor and active in technology startup community. Ted has served as a judge and mentor for the MIT100k and MIT Portugal entrepreneurship programs and advised and served on the boards of companies in mobile, embedded systems, enterprise and analytics technology companies. In addition to his FishEye board service he is currently serving on the board of directors of ShopSoko.com, a mobile phone platform building the largest supply chain in the world.
Ted holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and a Master’s of Science in Computer Systems from Northeastern University in Boston. He holds two U.S. patents, and has authored or co-authored over 15 publications in the fields of railways and defense systems.
